What’s on the Other Side of Your Hook

Before you start rattling off a pitch to a prospective home party hostess or recruit, make sure you have a fish and not an old shoe.

Qualify them, gently.

Get them engaged by asking open ended questions like:
“Tell me about you”,  or
“Have you ever….” or
“What is it about our products or service that appeals to you….”

Get them talking about themselves. You gain valuable insight about their needs and wants. And it is the best way to determine if you should reel them in, or cut bait and go fish again.
