The Power of "Yay"

Yesterday was a bear of a day! It was Monday, lots of frustrating conversations, and mini fires that were flamed by short tempered people (including me!)

Later that afternoon, an email caught my eye, the subject line was simply: Yay! Boy, oh boy, I couldn’t wait to open it. It was a note from a Fantasia Sales Rep; she was excited that both her personal and team numbers were up from last month.

Now I have to tell you, that Yay made my day! She was happy, and that made me feel happy! The power of Yay! Wow, who would have known?

I think I’m going to start using the power of Yay more often in my emails. Hey, might as well get the good stuff out there as much as possible! And I hope this inspires you do so too! People don’t forget those who make them feel good, and a sincere Yay will put you back into a positive mood PLUS make their day!

So, give your prospects, prospective customers, hostesses, all your team members a Yay today and everyday!
Be the cheerleader, the optimist,
the bearer of good wishes,
the storyteller, the enthusiast, the coach, the motivator,
the smile, the support, the bearer of good will,
be the wind beneath someone’s wings!
